Construction of Gateways into the Park

The construction of key gateway features along Keele Street is an important next step for the Park as it will establish the character and quality of this very public frontage. Downsview Park is focusing on the Keele Street / Sheppard Avenue Gateway, the Keele Street /Diana Drive gateway and the Keele Street / Whitburn Crescent gateways into the Park. Design work by Janet Rosenberg & Associates has begun and construction is expected to start in summer 2010.

On April 12 from 6 pm to 8 pm, come see the results of the Gateways Open House that was held on March 7. The meeting will be held at Downsview Park's Discovery Centre, 35 Carl Hall Road (side door).
