Nature walk at Downsview Park
Take some time to enjoy nature in Downsview Park.
Downsview Park has large fields and woodlots that attract a variety of wildlife to the Park. Take a walk through Boakes' Grove, where towering trees provide shade and habitat. Keep a look out for: killdeer, red-winged black birds, morning doves, red-tailed hawks, skunks, squirrels, groundhogs, deer, foxes and coyotes.
How to get there
From John Drury Drive: Walk west from the parking area at John Drury Drive and Carl Hall Road, toward the mature trees to the southwest. Look for flag poles. You will see a path that goes into the grove, lined with wood chips.
From Keele and Sheppard: Walk southeast towards the mature trees, behind the building located at 70 Canuck Ave. Look for flag poles. You will see a path that goes into the grove, lined with wood chips.
