Construction Fencing along Keele Street

Construction fencing, or hoarding, has been erected along Keele Street and George Butchard to protect the work site and public safety where the Lake and the Mound are under construction. The fencing has been animated with information, a series of images and a community art program and “windows” have been installed along Keele Street to allow the public to observe the construction.

Some of the existing construction fencing along Keele Street has been removed recently to make way for work associated with the lake and the future lookout point along the Keele Street edge of the lake. The section that was removed has been replaced with a wire fence to maintain safety and security while offering a great view into the site.
