The Downsview Park Sports Centre offers a wide selection of sports options for the player in you. Facilities include The Hangar (with indoor and outdoor fields), GrandPrix Kartways, HoopDome, PEAC School for Elite Athletes, The Rail Skate Park, True North Climbing, Toronto School of Circus Arts, Toronto Roller Derby League and Defcon Paintball. Coming in early 2010 are facilities for squash athletic training.

Operations at the Sports Centre generate funds to help build Downsview Park. The Downsview Park Sports Centre is growing to become the leading centre of athletic excellence in the GTA as the development of the Downsview Park Sustainable Community progresses. Downsview Park continues to pursue its vision of offering the community a world class sports facility while nurturing athletic ability from the playground to the podium.

The Rail Skatepark


Ride the rails at The Rail Skatepark on their 7,500-square-foot indoor boarding park, with granite ledges, straight and kink rails and ramps, four-foot mini ramp, tombstone and more. Lessons are available for all levels of boarders.

This 30,000-square-foot facility will house a five-lane, 60-metre track, numerous Olympic lifting platforms, 6,000-square-foot turf agility field, sport testing lab, sports therapy clinic, kinesis wall and many other cutting-edge conditioning tools. ATP will be staffed with the leading professional strength and conditioning coaches and therapy personnel in the country. National Squash Academy

NSA logoNational Squash Academy (NSA) is Canada’s first and only squash facility dedicated to growing the sport from the ground up. In conjunction with Athletic Training Professionals’ (ATP) high performance training gym, NSA will offer nine singles courts, including Canada’s first all-glass exhibition court and all-glass North American doubles court, as well as locker rooms, lounge and pro shop amenities in their new location in the Downsview Park Sports Centre, coming soon in 2010. Train alongside former world number one singles player and Squash Director Jonathon Power and his team of world-class coaches.
