Become a Volunteer at Downsview Park

Volunteers are an important part of the success of the numerous programs and events Downsview Park offers each year. Opportunities for volunteering are open to youth, adults, corporations and community groups for a wide range of activities, special events, educational programming, tree planting, and park beautification projects at Downsview Park.

We especially welcome high school students who wish to earn volunteer hours.

As a volunteer you will have the opportunity to:

Develop new or sharpen existing skills
Gain a better understanding of your personal abilities, strengths, and interests
Meet new people
Leave a lasting legacy with your hard work and dedication
Gain valuable high school volunteer hours

All volunteers must be 14 years of age or older. Volunteers younger than 19 years of age require parental consent.

Interested volunteers are responsible to present a completed Criminal History conducted by the Canadian Police Information Centre before assuming any volunteer roles with Parc Downsview Park Inc.
