PDP's Annual Report to Parliament on the Access to Information Act and

the Privacy Act 2006-2007

The Access to Information Act gives Canadian citizens the right to access information in federal government records. The Privacy Act provides citizens with the right to access personal information held by the government and protection of that information against unauthorized use and disclosure.

Parc Downsview Park Inc. became subject to the Access to Information Act and Privacy Act (ATIP) effective September 1st, 2006, as such, this is PDP’s first Annual Report to Parliament providing details of ATIP activities carried out during 2006-2007 fiscal period.
