Event Application

Downsview Park retains the exclusive food and beverage/catering service rights, including alcohol service and food concession rights, for all events at Downsview Park. If your event requires food and/or beverage service, including alcohol service, an  arrangement with Downsview Park’s Food & Beverage Service must be retained.

No dates requested by a third party shall be confirmed by Parc Downsview Park Inc. until all requested information regarding the event have been received and evaluated by the Park, a meeting between both parties has occurred, and an agreement has been negotiated and signed by both parties. No third party shall be permitted to use Downsview Park’s name in any marketing material for the purposes of advertising the event or soliciting sponsorship for the event until a contract outlining such agreement(s), if any, has been signed by both parties.

I declare on behalf of myself and/or the event/organization which I represent, that the event for which I am submitting this application complies with all of the following:

• Events or symbols appearing on Downsview Park grounds should not promote the hatred or derision of any group.
• This event is not an organized protest or political demonstration of any kind.
• This event will not cause and is not intended to endanger the health and safety of the public.
• Any action which could incite violence is prohibited.
• The desecration of flags or other national symbols is strictly prohibited.
• Events appearing on Downsview Park grounds shall be consistent with the principle of respect for the dignity and worth of all persons.

I understand that any violation of or failure to comply with these stipulations will result in immediate cancellation and/or termination of the Event by Downsview Park and may result in financial penalty payable by the organization and/or event. I hereby submit this application to hold an event at Downsview Park and represent and warrant that all information set forth in this application is true and correct to the best of my knowledge. I hereby authorize Parc Downsview Park Inc. and its employees or agents to receive, collect and retain personal information about me or my organization from any institutions or persons in order to consider and evaluate my application. It is understood by all parties that Parc Downsview Park Inc. is under no obligation whatsoever to grant permission to hold the event at Downsview Park.
