Community Field Trips

Make your next excursion, a visit to Downsview Park with your daycare, camp, community group, seniors club or corporate team. Choose from a selection of programs (listed below) or customize one just for you! Programs are available to people of all ages and interests. 

Field trips can be booked year round for a full or half day. 

Program fees

This is a fee-for-service program. Program fees are used to help offset the costs for education program staff.
Full day: $9.00* per participant
Half day: $6.00* per participant
*Plus HST

Nature in the Park

Discover the habitats of animals in the city and learn how plants and animals are interdependent. Nature is one step away!

Predator vs. Prey

Learn about ecology by becoming a part of the natural food chain in this educational survival game.

Sports

Play soccer, beach volleyball, ball hockey or other sports in professional facilities in the Downsview Park Sports Centre.

Compass Navigation

Never get lost again. Learn how to use a compass and navigate through interactive activities.

Urban Food

Discover wild, edible plants in the Park. Get your hands dirty in Downsview Park's vegetable garden and learn about growing food locally.

Customized

Discuss your interests with our education staff and they will customize a program to meet your needs and interests.
